Carneros Estate Grown Pinot Noir not only comes from the best blocks in our vineyard but is also a selection of the most appealing barrels within each lot. Cradled amid three hills of the Donum Estate, our Carneros vineyard is planted to a diverse collection of Dijon clones and heirloom selections of Pinot Noir.The 2016 opens with a note of sassafras and salty air, joined by aromas of Bing cherry, fresh red currant, raspberry, pomegranate, and subtle notes of marzipan and rosemary. There is massive concentration and depth, with great structure and a surprising delicacy that suggests the wine has a long life ahead of it.
